East Asia, China, Qing Dynasty, later period, ca. 19th century CE. A pair of gorgeous snuff bottles, each made from dark horn with ivory inlays on one side and gilt decoration on the other. Size of largest: 1.7" W x 2.2" H (4.3 cm x 5.6 cm)
This is an ESA antique exempt piece of ivory and cannot be sold internationally or to anyone residing in the states of California, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Washington. We guarantee that the piece is over 100 years old.
Provenance: ex-private Texas, USA collection, acquired in Asia in the 1990s; ex-private Colorado, USA collection, acquired through descent in 2019
