Group of Early Ginori Porcelain Plates with hand painted and named Italian urban views, Doccia, c.1810-25, generally attributed to the painter Ferdinando Ammannati, comprising 12 plates and one larger serving plate, each hand painted with a named Italian site as indicated to the obverse, with cobalt blue and gilded borders. Similar wares are contained in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. Collection of Charles Phillips, Cleveland, OH.
Dimensions: 9.5 in. dia. The larger plate 11.5 in. dia.
Condition: Very good antique condition with some old flakes/small chips, and normal wear to the plate edges and gilding, some flaws in the making touched up with gilded sprigs.
