Scarce original lithograph on paper with gold ink!
From the iconic Portfolio done for the first exhibition of posters held in Saint Petersburg in 1897.
Dimensions:
+ Size of the sheet: 34 x 25,5 cm / 13.4 x 10 in.
+ Size of the image: 20,5 x 15,5 cm / 8,1 x 6,1 in.

The portfolio consisted of 39 lithographic plates (smaller versions) of the greatest posters printed between 1890 and 1897.
Many of the images in the series are so rare that they can be found today in no other format.
Much like the famous Maitre de L'Affiche series created by Cheret in Paris, the portfolio celebrated the rise of the poster in Europe at the turn of the XIX century.

Condition: In overall good condition, with some soft handling creases, some light folds, some minor stains, and some tiny tears at the edges. One minor missing part on the bottom left corner; paper slightly yellowed. Image very clean otherwise, with bright and vivid colors.
