DESCRIPTION: Two antique Buddhist hanging scrolls ("kakejiku"): one depicting a haloed Siddhartha Gautama standing on a lotus throne making the boon granting gesture with his left hand and the teaching gesture with his right hand; one zen Buddhist scroll describing the "manifestation of the heavenly lord" and depicting a seated female figure holding a small child while flanked by two royal attendants.
