A bamboo and rattan 'Pretzel' modular sofa, 1950s, after the original design by Paul Frankl (Austrian-American, 1886-1958), of six-strand construction, in five sections, each with seat and back cushions upholstered in blue fabric, labelled 'Rattan Art' to the frame, 315cm wide (extended) 81cm deep 73cm high, together with a corner table, of stranded bamboo construction, the square teak top with a gallery shelf, 70cm square 62.5cm high (2) Buying this sofa at auction could save up to 0.56 tonnes of CO2e compared to buying new. Condition Report: The frame somewhat faded in sections. The frame with some knocks and marks.
