Item Details
Description
PROMETHEUS (2012) - Large Engineer Ampule - A large Engineer ampule from Ridley Scott's sci-fi prequel Prometheus. Extraterrestrial engineers used ampules to store terraforming biochemicals. The Prometheus crew found cavernous rooms filled with ampules.

Three different sizes of these pieces were made and seen in the chamber, with this piece the largest of the three. Raku pottery specialist Rob Sollis was recruited to craft the urns, which took inspiration from delicate Roman glass. This particular version is created from hard biscuit foam with a resin skin with alien text etched vertically into the gently curving body. It exhibits markings throughout and comes complete in a transparent acrylic case. Dimensions: 11.5" x 11.5" x 32" (29.25 cm x 29.25 cm x 81.25 cm)

Estimate: $2,000 - 4,000
