A copy of the Portland Daily Bugle was seen on the desk of Shawshank Warden Samuel Norton (Bob Gunton) after Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) escaped from the prison.

The newspaper bears the headline "Corruption, Murder at Shawshank," with a subheading that reads, "D.A. Has Ledger - Indictements [sic] Expected" above an image of the prison. The newspaper is folded and features printed copy on its front page, center spread and back page. This newspaper comes mounted in a sculpted gray wooden frame with white matting.
