THE MATRIX TRILOGY (1999-2003) - Posed Sentinel VFX Reference Model Miniature - A posed sentinel VFX reference model miniature from the Wachowskis' The Matrix trilogy. Sentinels roamed the remains of the real world in search of humans and acted as military units throughout the trilogy, including when they besieged Zion in The Matrix Revolutions. Model miniatures such as these were created by production for light and pose studies prior to their animation through CGI.

Created by the prop manufacture unit, this squid-like sentinel originated from a crew member. It features an ornately detailed cast resin head and plated tentacles painted metallic gray with muted red eyes and static claws. The model comes mounted to a custom display base textured and painted to resemble a large sentinel tentacle section. This sentinel exhibits a buildup of grime and chipped paint on the clamp claws. Dimensions: 20" x 20" x 26" (51 cm x 51 cm x 66 cm)
