Fifteen Lusterware Table Items, England, 19th century. Assembled group of red and cream-colored earthenware with copper luster glaze decoration, includes two pitchers with angular handles and bead-molded rims, the flaring walls with oval reserves on yellow-glazed band containing enamel-painted transfer prints, one pitcher with three cows opposite a nursing woman, the other depicting a dog playing fetch opposite girls reading a book; the four sprig-molded items comprise three pitchers and a waisted bowl on pedestal base; one teapot with molded bird of prey forming the thumbpiece, and a covered jug with straining holes punched into tall galleried rim behind the molded spout; two large pitchers with enamel-painted relief decoration; and five small pitchers decorated with molded or glazed bands (repairs), largest, 20cm wide, 12cm deep, 15cm high (8in wide, 5in deep, 6 5/8in high).
