Description

Pair of flip-top pedestal card tables, with cut brass panel mounts and brass hairy claw feet. Attributed to the Richmond, Virginia area. One table labeled underneath: "Data and Photographs of this Piece Recorded by Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts" with photo reference No. S-6837. Provenance: From the Barksdale family of "Clay Hill", Amelia County, VA. Dimensions: (Top folded) H 29.25" x W 36" x D 18" Condition: Refinished; likely rebuilt. Pair presents beautifully overall. One small loss to brass applique panel. Scattered scuffs, scratches, and small nicks.
