Henry Parker, 75’ Everglades landscape, oil on canvas signed lower right, canvas size 25 x 49 inches, 58 x 34 inches overall. Everglades Island Vlew by Henry Parker (1938-2021 new information) O/C.Parker was Born In Norristown Pa. and later moved to cape May NJ where he studied and developed a passion for the ocean scenes. Formally studied art at University of Miami Lowe Gallery. Parker regularly visited Florida from the 1970’s through the 1980’s exhibiting at art shows and venues numerous Florida views as seen in the marketplace. Subsequently Henry moved to Tennessee. During the Gatlinburg Fires of 2016 many lost their lives and homes. Henry lost his house and was helped by country singer and movie star Dolly Parton.
