Antique French Giant 48 inches Across, Tole Tray Hand Painted, C.1900
Fabulous Antique French 19th. century hand painted tole Tray. This tray is 48 inches across. The color is of a deep burgundy red with a central Green Laurel leaf, the rounded rim is hand painted with gape leaves a grape bunches.in Pink and Yellow.
To my knowledge this was made to be a Table on stand, typical of the late 19th century in France, probably from one of the vineyards of France. Some chipping to the Black Paint at the back. Good condition consistent with age and use.
