lot off 1882 revenue stamped paper check National Bank Chambersburg PA/Reading HardwareThe First National Bank was established in the building shown here as "City Bank of Kenosha" in 1852, at the corner of Main and Park Streets. At this location, on January 21, 1864, it was granted a charter as a national bank by Hugh McCullough. At this time, the name was changed to First National Bank of Kenosha. In 1885 the bank moved to the corner of Main (6th Avenue) and Market (56th Street) Streets.
