[BASEBALL]. ALMEIDA, Rafael (1887-1968). A Pair of Snapshots of Almeida During Gameplay. [Havana: ca. 1910]. Two photos of Almeida in uniform, one with Almeida with his glove, the other is a long-distance shot of him at bat. 4 ¼ x 3” and 2 ½ x 4 ¼”. Both toned, creased, soiled. Very good. Rare. Almeida was a “Negro League” third baseman for the Cincinatti Reds. From the Mark Rucker Collection.
