Description
An antique English Arts and Crafts period hammered copper mirror attributed to Liberty of London. The bezel frame is decorated with hammered copper cabochons depicting Celtic swirl and key motifs, the whole with mellow closing surface and good design. A hanging chain is on the backside. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. The Arts and Crafts movement was an international trend in the decorative and fine arts that developed earliest and most fully in the British Isles and subsequently spread across the British Empire and to the rest of Europe and America.
