02.06.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1357: As described there are multiple restorations to the marble tiling, including to the front edge and the left side edge of the drawer, I note that the commode is presently intact and structurally sturdy, there is a minute restoration to the back left corner of the tiled top, as well as an adjacent hairline, there are minor chips to the gilt and carved trim above drawer, including one with a visible glue repair, the drawers operate smoothly, and the lacquered segments exhibit typical craquelure with several minor spots of paint touch ups, the inlay and gilt is overall well-retained
