02.06.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1266: I note that the chest is presently intact and structurally sturdy, there are minute white enamel touch ups to areas of inlay loss or seams, particularly near the trim edges of the top panel, which also exhibits minor inlay losses to the corners and along the back edge, as well as some hairlines to the black trim, the drawers currently operate smoothly, and the pulls/ knobs display wear to the central inlay commensurate with use, the verso of the chest exhibits minor chips along the side edges, as well as areas of black paint touch ups, there is typical minor surface wear such as light abrasions and chipping to the lacquered feet
