Title: Antique 10kt Aquamarine Stone Art Deco Ring, Sz. 9.5, Appx. 5.5 CTW Two-Tone, Description: Antique 10kt Aquamarine Art Deco Ring, Sz. 9.5, Appx. 5.5 CTW Two-Tone. early 1900's ring, appx. 1920's-1930's. Mostly 10kt white gold, there is a yellow gold blossom on each side of the ring. Filigree work around the base of the ring. The stone tests as aqua and is appx. 12mm by 11mm. It is bezel set with the blossom design on each side, white gold leaves and the yellow gold flower as mentioned. There is a rope accent at the top of the bezel and a wider base that the stone is mounted on with the filigee work framing the sides of the lower base. The ring is appx. 16.8mm down the finger and 15,8mm across the finger. The band is appx. 4mm at top shoulder and tapers to appx. 1.9mm at the back of the finger - there is decorative work on the upper band. It is not marked or signed. The stone is appx. 100 years old. It does have some finish wear on the stone. The ring tests in the range of either aquamarine which is close to blue citrine. It is possible it is citrine but not known for certain. Blue citrine has been used in jewelry a very long time - you just don't hear it much. It was very popular throughout the 1800's and still used today. It is not glass. The ring is not marked or signed. It tests as 10kt with an appx. weight of 4.30 gr. Good condition - just typical expected wear on a ring of this age. (LTM.24 SS13070 J LD 1/29/24).
