Norfolk & Western Railway Playing Card Decks - Route of The Pocahontas & Powhatan Arrow Red Border and Green Border
A pair of single deck of playing cards for Norfolk & Western Railroad in both the Red border and Green border Route of The Pocahontas & Powhatan Arrow design, circa 1940. Both decks include 52 playing cards and One Joker. The cards show mild signs of use with discoloration along the edge from handle. A few cards show edge or corner wear. The red box shows general storage wear along the edges. The green box shows moderate discoloration, wear along the edges, and tears along the edge from opening the flap. The decks are given a V-5, very difficult to locate, rating in Bollhagen's book. See photos for best description.
