Four small vintage dolls including: A bisque German doll with sleepy eyes, open mouth, bent arms and jointed legs - marked on neck xxxx -8"L - good condition; miniature bisque European doll with fixed blue eyes, jointed arms and hand painted legs - 19th century - old lace dress may be original - very good condition - 5"L and a molded composition Black doll which appears to retain original dress, probably early to mid 20th century - very good condition - 5 1/2"L; and a German doll marked 390 Made in Germany - sleepy eyes - open mouth - torso of body repaired and tight hairline in back of neck - 11 1/2"L. Provenance: From the Thomas & Gail Rockwell collection, LaGrangeville NY. Tom is the son of the renowned American artist, Norman Rockwell and the author or many children's books. His late wife Gail, was an artist-illustrator and the daughter of Arthur E. Sudler and Janet Whitson Sudler, both early 20th century artists - she illustrated several of her husband's children's books.
