Description
Two Victorian silver plated collectibles. The first, a figural napkin ring decorated with a spread wing bird and an oriental fan - not engraved; the second, a child's cup decorated with an embossed cat and ball on 2 sides, and engraved "Mary C. / Aug. 10, '88" - . Both with tarnishing otherwise good condition. Provenance: From the Thomas & Gail Rockwell collection, LaGrangeville NY. Tom is the son of the renowned American artist, Norman Rockwell and the author or many children's books. His late wife Gail, was an artist-illustrator and the daughter of Arthur E. Sudler and Janet Whitson Sudler, both early 20th century artists - she illustrated several of her husband's children's books.
