Two vintage cork screws and figural bottle stopper. Includes a wild boar tusk cork screw with applied silver handle in the form of a wild boar with glass eyes, late 19th to early 20th century - measures 7"L x 5"H - very good condition; a composition dog head cork screw - rusted collar else good condition; together with a carved wooden wine bottle stopper in the form of a mechanical ballerina in original paint - the ballerina would "dance" when the knob extending from base is turned - unfortunately, the figure is slightly loose and the strings need tightening to make it work properly, otherwise it is all original and in very good condition - 6 1/4"H. Provenance: From the Thomas & Gail Rockwell collection, LaGrangeville NY. Tom is the son of the renowned American artist, Norman Rockwell and the author or many children's books. His late wife Gail, was an artist-illustrator and the daughter of Arthur E. Sudler and Janet Whitson Sudler, both early 20th century artists - she illustrated several of her husband's children's books.
