Grouping of 25 pens, mostly lead pens, including: A signed Moore lead pen with brass or gold plated trim and a similar Parker lead pen; small retractable Egyptian Revival pen with enameled metal body in the form of a Pharaoh - 2 1/8"L; pair with silver cases with removable caps, one for holding a pencil the other with a built in pair of scissors signed "Hicks / Germany" - each 3 1/8"L; another silver cased pencil holder, engraved and marked Sterling; 2 lead pens marked "Wahl Eversharp" in silver plate - one of these is missing clip; a signed Ronson Pencilite chrome lead pen (the lighting mechanism is stiff and doesn't open all the way); a signed Nasco mechanical lead pen; 2 sterling lead pens; 2 sterling clad fountain pens, one marked Ideal/Sterling on clip, the other unmarked and missing clip with 14k nib; several gold plated lead pens with colorful rhinestones imbedded in top of cap; etc. Provenance: From the Thomas & Gail Rockwell collection, LaGrangeville NY. Tom is the son of the renowned American artist, Norman Rockwell and the author or many children's books. His late wife Gail, was an artist-illustrator and the daughter of Arthur E. Sudler and Janet Whitson Sudler, both early 20th century artists - she illustrated several of her husband's children's books.
