Oil on Masonite, modernistic, fruit on table, not signed. Masonite attached to wooden frame, circa 1920-30. Paint crazing and some tiny flaking, otherwise very good condition. Total size 31" x 17 1/2". Provenance: From the Thomas & Gail Rockwell collection, LaGrangeville NY. Tom is the son of the renowned American artist, Norman Rockwell and the author or many children's books. His late wife Gail, was an artist-illustrator and the daughter of Arthur E. Sudler and Janet Whitson Sudler, both early 20th century artists - she illustrated several of her husband's children's books.
