Grouping of 4 framed Degas lithographs (EDGAR DEGAS, French 1834-1917), each artist signed within plate and with a George Auriol blind stamp within plate. Two of the lithographs with gouache highlights. Condition: All the lithographs are in very good condition, but one with vertical thin scrape mark near center base (see photo) - also, the matting bordering one image with large water stain but no damage is visible in the actual artwork - the reverse side shows staining on the paper covering the backing. All 4 professionally framed and matted. The largest measures 17 3/4" x 23 3/4". Probably early to mid 20th century. Provenance: From the Thomas & Gail Rockwell collection, LaGrangeville NY. Tom is the son of the renowned American artist, Norman Rockwell and the author or many children's books. His late wife Gail, was an artist-illustrator and the daughter of Arthur E. Sudler and Janet Whitson Sudler, both early 20th century artists - she illustrated several of her husband's children's books.
