Two oak multi-drawer spool cabinets, 19th century. The first with 9 drawers - most drawers with fitted interiors but some loose partitions - the drawer veneers are slightly loose in some places, wobbles slightly, but overall good condition - measures 24 1/4"W x 11 1/2"D x 21 1/4"H; the second 6 drawers with tear drop pulls - 3 pulls loose and 1 missing - center backboard missing - overall good condition - measures 25 1/4"W x 17 3/4" x 24 7/8". Provenance: From the Thomas & Gail Rockwell collection, LaGrangeville NY. Tom is the son of the renowned American artist, Norman Rockwell and the author or many children's books. His late wife Gail, was an artist-illustrator and the daughter of Arthur E. Sudler and Janet Whitson Sudler, both early 20th century artists - she illustrated several of her husband's children's books.
