A double Peacock and tree of life with Adam and eve are front and center with a house, angels, fruit bowls, hearts, birds, and the inscription of "Contentment is a constant stored desire what's fit and nothing more" Noted is a second girls name in the center above the date that appears to be 1786 of "Elz Wigglesworth" A very nice sampler with two small 1/8" holes and a foxing spot at top center with even toning.
