Description
19th/20th Century Mexican School. A miniature painting, oil on copper, depicting an angel with putti heads, unsigned, in the form of a relicario medallion (containing printed paper cards); 2 1/2" x 2" oval. Together with a Mexican ex-voto miniature of Our Mother of Refuge, oil on tin, unsigned, 2 3/4" H x 2 1/8" W (mounted in frame, 8 1/4" x 7 3/4"). Condition: Visual: Grime, varnish discoloration, wear to tin/copper, and loss of pigment, scuffs, scratches, and dents, primarily commensurate with age. Provenance: Private Collection, Northern California.
