Description
Edmund Greacen 1876-1949, New York impressionist artist, studied in France, joined a colony of American impressionists in Olde Lyme, CT called "The Lyme Art Colony. In 1922 he established "The Painters and Sculpture Gallery Association”, along side impressionist John Singer Sargent, and Walton Leighton Clark. He also started another school "The Grand Central School of Art” in NY. Needs restoration. It measures 36" by 24" and depicts a river landscape.
