Vintage 12kt G.F. Blue Porcelain Painted Necklace, 18", Signed B&G (Copenhagen) gold tone outline flower in the background with blue over in an Asian style. The chain is marked 1/20 12kt G.F. It is appx. 2.5mm wide rope chain with spring clasp. The back of the pendant is stamped B&G and also has large BG letters. The bail itself is marked 14kt (and tests as 14kt) with the CA arrow mark which I believe is Carl Arts and I'm guessing the bal was taken from someone's other piece of jewelry. The chain and pendant I believe are original, the bail is different. B&G is Bing and Grondahl - Denmark. Age is appx. 1960's-1980's. This company has been in business as a porcelain company since the mid 1800's. I found many similar necklaces with most selling for $95.00 and higher and that is without a 14kt bail.
