1 purple lozenge woven cotton net w/ gathered V neckline, glove length sleeves, self-covered belt w/ paste buckle, original slip of purple crepe, B 40”, W 34”, L 46”, slip B 40”, L 44”, (holes in lace up to 0.5”, few stains up to 1”, few pulls/loose threads, some discoloration & shattering to slip, few missing & discolored stones at buckle) very good; 1 blue silk velvet w/ paste dress clips to high V neck, elbow length sleeves & fitted bodice w/ ruching, self ties from side W into tie at CB, “Fashion Originator’s Guild” label, B 34”, W 26”, L 44”, (frayed seam openings up to 1” around bodice & 3” at SS, seam openings up to 12” in hem, few tiny pulls, tarnish & few missing stones in clips) good. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum to benefit collections care, preservation and future acquisitions.
