The lot includes the Order of Lenin, Type 4 awarded in 1951 with 4 medals: Russia WWII Medal for the Defence of Moscow Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part of the defense of Moscow; Medal for Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945; Two medals In Commemoration of the 800th Anniversary of Moscow; and 2 extremely rare badges: Excellence in Healthcare of the USSR badge and Excellence in social competition Narkomelectro, awarded in 1941 and 1948. For every medal and badge, there is proper documentation. Everything was awarded to one person, Sokolova Evdokia Ivanovna. Note: The Order of Lenin, named after the leader of the Russian October Revolution, was established by the Central Executive Committee on April 6, 1930. The order was the highest civilian decoration bestowed by the Soviet Union. The order was awarded to: Civilians for outstanding services rendered to the State; Members of the armed forces for exemplary service; Those who promoted friendship and cooperation between peoples and in strengthening peace; Those with meritorious services to the Soviet state and society.
