Santos Ortiz and Berta Chacon (both are Mata Ortiz, active 20th to 21st century). Bichrome jar, n.d. Signed "SanBe" on underside of base. A wonderful pottery jar meticulously hand-painted in beige-on-brown decoration of elaborate, abstract motifs. Boasting a minimalist yet elegant silhouette, the vessel presents a bulbous body with a brief shoulder and raised rim, all sitting upon a round yet stable base. Size: 8.5" Diameter x 6.8" H (21.6 cm x 17.3 cm)
