Presented for your consideration are a hand braided quirt and bosal. A quirt is still commonly used by horsemen and this quirt is made of hand braided rawhide with a leather lanyard. The bosal is a great example of the herringbone structure and V braiding. Well made and interesting examples of hand braided tack that you ought to add to your collection by bidding now!
MAKER: Unknown.
APPROX AGE: Vintage (meaning somewhere between 1930s-1970s).
SIZE: Quirt measures approximately 25 inches long. The bosal measures 6 7/8 inches wide x 13 1/4 inches long.
