Description
Available here for your consideration are two nice Mata Ortiz pots. The large pot is fantastically decorated over its entire surface with swirling patterns in bold black and orange applied to the grey body of the pot. The body of the second pot is an off-white that is decorated along the rim, inside and out, in black geometrics. Then over the bulk of the pot's body the artist has rendered figures of birds and lizards. The artist also has stippled the entire body of the pot where it lacks painted decoration. Great detail on both of these pots!
