Offered here for your consideration are two pairs of old Crockett spurs and a pair of North & Judd spurs with their box. The Crockett spurs are classic examples of the basic spurs made to be used by a working cowboy. The N & J Spurs appear to be military style Cavalry spurs. These spurs would be great to use, add to your collection or to hang on the wall so bid now!
Crockett Bit and Spur Co made bits and spurs for many years until they were bought out by Renaldi, who continued making them under the Crockett/Renaldi brand.
Provenance: From the estate of Mike Jensen. A long time collector and member of NBSSCA.
MAKER: 2 sets hallmarked CROCKETT (stamped) and 1 set hallmarked NOJUCO (stamped - North and Judd, Buermann Co).
APPROX AGE: Vintage (circa 1930s - 40s).
SIZE: One Crockett pair measures approximately 3 inches at the heel, 1 inch at the band and 3 1/4 inches along the shank. The other Crockett pair measures 3 1/4 inches at the heel, 7/8 inches at the band and 3 inches along the shank. The N & J spurs measure approximately 3 1/4 inches at the heel, 3/8 inches at the band, and 3/4 inch along the shank.
CONDITION: Varies. Average to good for their ages, normal wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
