Description
Two Japanese Gyokusendo Tsuiki Hammered Copper Vases, likely from the period of Kakuhei Tamagawa (1930-1992), one of baluster and one of ovoid form, each with overall hammered finish with relief areas imitating ceramic glaze, each struck with Gyokusendo mark to underside. Tallest: 8.5" H. Note: Gyokusendo was founded in 1816 in Tsubame, Japan, and for over 200 years the family firm has produced Tsuiki copperware under six generations of masters.
