Two inkwells, one by Dominique Alonzo and an Arts & Crafts Ascot, details include: Dominique Alonzo (French, Early 20th C.), Art Nouveau inkwell, with pine cone design, tricorner shaped, glass insert, signed on rim, numbered "7337" on lid and base, wear consistent with age and use, 3" h.; and an Arts & Crafts inkwell, late 19th C., silver-plate over brass and copper, hammered brass trifold base with applied copper frog, fly, beetle and other insects, removable cobalt glass well and copper rim, no maker's marks viewed, inscribed verso "Ascot 1885", wear consistent with age and use including small dents and rubbing of finish in high areas and corners, 1 3/4" h. x 6 3/4" w.
