Description
Chinese Rose Medallion Painted Porcelain Planter, Ca. 19th C., H 3" W 6" L 8.5" | Boasting a lemon skin surface texture. Having hand-painted side panels featuring potted trees and floral arrangements on the longer sides. Multiple floral spheres along the short side panels. Terminating on four bracket feet marked with Qing Dynasty Qianlong reign mark (大清乾隆年製, Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi) to the underside over glaze. Provenance: From a Linden, Michigan collector by family descent.
Condition
Fired gold top edge shows wear (as seen in photos). Eight points of contact on underside from firing (as seen in photo).
