North America, ca. 20th century CE. An impressive necklace with polished fluorite and amethyst stones. The beads are large with rounded shapes that have a glassy surface and semi-translucent areas. The stones are a stunning light green, turquoise, and purple. Petite spherical purple spacer beads separate the massive nuggets from each other. The necklace has a silver plated spring clasp to make this a wearable piece. Fluorite and amethyst are semi-precious stones that have been used throughout history as symbols of royalty and as healing properties. Size necklace: 20" L (50.8 cm); pendant bead: 1.5" L x 1" W (3.8 cm x 2.5 cm)
