Parker Duofold Penparker Chromium pen base. This base was designed to be a traveling base, you could slip the clip under the metal ring on the base and use it as a desk set when sitting at a work station. Convertible pens were common at this stage, where a pen could be used as a pocket or desk pen and Parker attempted to do something different with this base. Unfortunately for Parker the base never took off and it is uncommon today. Overall the base is in fair condition with some loss to the black paint and some pitting. The pen cap is damaged that is shown in the base is damaged, but included to show how the base functions.
