French Gilt Metal & Porcelain Striking Mantle Clock and Garniture, Late 19th C, the clock stamped '4 PH MOUREY 71' and the garniture stamped 'PH MOUREY', the backplate stamped 'Japy Freres & Cie., Med. D. Honneur'. Size of garniture: 9 in. x 4 1/2 in.Measurements: Height: of clock 19 in. x Width: 10 in. x Depth: 6 3/8 in.
Condition
Fair condition, rubbing to gilding, glaze and painted decoration on porcelain, oxidation and pitting to metal, rubbing and losses to gilt surfaces, lacking glass plate to back, some metal elements loose, in need of light cleaning, garnitures lacking lids, central element to one garniture detached but present.
