Description
A simple slide-top keepsake box with the owner's name -- L.Keefe -- outlined with small tacks on the top and one side. Found in a logging camp in Digby Nova Scotia. The wood is believed to be sycamore which is known to grow as far north as Maine and southern Quebec. Good condition, mid 19th century. 5.5" x 11.75" x 5.75".
