Description
A Whistler hen and Bluebill hen from Rice Lake by Ray Pomeroy, acquired directly from the carver in 1948 by picker Don Reid in Norval, Ontario, where they both worked in the same factory. At the time, Pomeroy said that he had made them some 20 years earlier, dating them to the late 1920s. Bluebill: 5" x 12" x 5.5". Whistler: 4.5" x 12" x 5.5". Condition
Original paint with heavy crazing on both decoys. Overall excellent hollow body decoys.
