LIGHTNING FRUIT JARS, LOT OF THREE, each embossed "TRADE MARK / LIGHTNING" at front, comprising an amber half gallon, a dark-golden amber pint, and a golden amber quart, all with patent-embossed glass lids and wire neck bands/bails. Fourth quarter 19th century. 6 1/4" H pint, 10 1/4" HOA.

Provenance:

Collection of the late Al and Billy Steidel, Alexandria, VA.

Condition

Each undamaged with mostly minor wear; quart with one patch of heavier scratching at rear; pint's lid is darker than the jar.
