Description
CONNECTICUT DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, approximately one-gallon capacity, wide-mouth form with flat-top rim and applied arched handles. Slip-trailed cobalt floral decoration with "1838" below. Attributed to the Sidney Risely Pottery, Norwich, CT. Dated 1838. 9" H, 7 1/4" D rim.
