Flags are an important part of every automobile race and the Indianapolis 500 is no different. This set of oversized flags from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway would look great in an exhibit. This set of flags, which are 5 feet x 7 feet, would fly over the Speedway on the flag poles in the turns or in the former ÒFlag LotÓ. These flags come from the Estate of Tom Rosenberger, who was a 20 year veteran of the Safety Patrol, and who was in charge of the raising and lowering of the flags daily during race activities.
