NSW Government Report by Campbell Carmichael largely focused on distribution of foodstuffs at city markets. His original scope to also inquiry into cost of living was thwarted by the enormity of the task and the onset of war. As such, his inquiries were devoted into methods of stimulating production or cheapening distribution which were applicable to New South Wales conditions. He visited markets at Milan, Zurich, Munich, Dresden, Leipsic, Berlin, Paris, and London, and some of these are illustrated in photographs and maps.

Small chips and tears to wrappers edges. 4cm split at tail of wrappers upper joint. Minor tanning. Very Good Condition.
