Description
Ancient Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, 26th Dynasty, ca. 664 to 525 BCE. A mold-formed faience amulet depicting the goddess Isis feeding her infant son Horus. Isis is shown grasping her left breast towards her son who lays in her lap, and a remnant of her typical throne-shaped headdress is present atop her head. The entire artifact is covered in turquoise-hued glaze. Size: 0.90" L x 0.48" W x 1.53" H (2.3 cm x 1.2 cm x 3.9 cm)

Condition
Loss to headdress as shown. Minor abrasions and nicks, with softening to some finer details, and light earthen deposits, otherwise in great condition. Nice preservation to glaze pigment throughout.
