Condition/Comments: An exceptional example! The integrity of the frame contours is still intact and there is a fine, smooth surface to the sign itself, with no dings, dents, or creases. Close inspection reveals some anomalies in the metal or base coat that include small recessed areas and dust particles. These can be found fairly consistently across the surface. NOTE: There are small areas of very high level restoration, some of which fluoresce: below the bird, in the gold border at the top center, and a few other spots in the sky. Also note that there is discoloration along the right edge and very bottom of the image that also fluoresces, making it difficult to tell what is truly restoration and what is naturally occurring. This discoloration blends nicely with the clouds and landscape so is hardly a distraction. Additionally, some of the dust areas fluoresce while others do not. It is very difficult to tell whether the entire piece has been lightly and evenly clear coated or if it is the original finish. If the former, this also hinders our ability to identify restoration. In any case, this is a very nice example. 19-1/2 inches wide x 15-3/4h. All items are original with no post-production alterations detected unless noted.
